\n\nTravel Nurse Job Details\n

• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2300-$2360\n
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (December 1, 2025 – February 28, 2026)\n
• Healthcare Setting: Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Pharmacy Unit\n
• Shift: 12-hour evening shifts\n
• Hours: 36 hours per week (guaranteed 72 hours biweekly, not including on-call)\n
• On-Call: One 24-hour weekend shift per month and three night calls per month (11pm–7am); 30-minute response time required\n
• Weekends & Holidays: Required\n
• Start Date: December 1, 2025\n
• Orientation: Biweekly (11/17, 12/01, 12/08)\n
• Location Requirement: Travelers must reside at least 50 miles from the facility\n

\n\nPACU Registered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active Massachusetts RN license (required at time of submission)\n
• Minimum 2 years of recent PACU nursing experience\n
• Proficient in caring for patients on drips and ventilators\n
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or ENPC equivalency) certifications from AHA\n
• Ability to pass ECG/Tele and Medication tests during onboarding (one attempt only, 85% passing score)\n
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)\n
• No holiday time off; limited RTO (requests must be submitted at application)\n
• Must not have worked for Beth Israel Lahey Health in any capacity within the last 6 months\n

\n\nPACU Nurse Responsibilities\n

\n
• Deliver high-quality post-anesthesia care to patients in the PACU\n
• Monitor and manage patients recovering from anesthesia, including those requiring drips and ventilator support\n
• Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition and provide appropriate clinical interventions\n
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes\n
• Participate in scheduled on-call rotations\n
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation\n
• Comply with all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards\n
