Role Summary
In this role, you will be part of the Wireless/Connectivity Software team, designing and building advanced 5G, Wi-Fi, and connectivity software stacks for vehicle infotainment, hotspots, diagnostics, and customer-facing features. You will work on various aspects of connectivity software that enable connected vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop wireless (Cellular and/or Wi-Fi) software stacks and algorithms for connectivity systems.
• Create state machines for control, data, and voice services interfacing with 5G/Wi-Fi modules.
• Develop object-oriented designs, middleware, and system services for embedded Linux systems.
• Implement power, connection, and network policies for different network scenarios.
• Collaborate with hardware, BSP, wireless software, system architecture, and testing teams to architect scalable software platforms.
• Follow good software architecture practices, contribute to code and design reviews, and perform unit testing to ensure high-quality software.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
• Strong C++ programming and debugging skills.
• Experience with wireless technologies (Cellular or Wi-Fi).
• Proficiency in algorithms, TCP/IP suite, memory management, and file systems.
• Good understanding of ARM processors, toolchains, and Linux OS.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Have

• Experience in cellular 4G/5G or Wi-Fi development.
• Experience with embedded Linux systems and networking.
• Experience in Android software development (Kotlin or Java).

Additional Information

Salary Range for California-based applicants: $116,300 - $145,400 USD, based on experience and other factors.
