Job Description

Company Overview: We are partnered with a leading private equity firm in LA that has over $xxB in AUM. They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Associate or Vice President to join their Value Creation team.

Position Overview: This individual will play a critical role in enhancing the value of our portfolio companies and will work closely with senior management, investment teams, and portfolio company executives to identify and implement strategic initiatives that drive growth, operational efficiency, and long-term value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with portfolio company management to develop and execute strategic plans that align with the firm's investment objectives.
  • Operational Improvement: Identify opportunities for operational enhancements and lead initiatives to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and monitor the performance of portfolio companies.
  • Market Research: Perform market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and potential risks.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on the progress of value creation initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with portfolio company executives, investment teams, and other key stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Lead cross-functional teams to execute value creation projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree a nice to have (but not required).
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in management consulting (Tier 1 firm preferred).
    • Specific Divisions - ODD, CDD, Strategy implementation, etc.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proven ability to lead and manage projects. Experience with Tableau or PowerBI will help you stand out among other candidates.
  • Attributes: Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset; ability to work independently and as part of a team; high level of integrity and professionalism.
